5 Reasons Why You Should Celebrate the Holidays at Marco Polo Cebu

It is indeed the most wonderful time of the year! Despite the busy schedules at work, the need to squeeze in  gift shopping, the frustration in dealing with traffic, the late dinners with friends and all the holiday rush we have to face, Christmas is still something we all  look forward to! It’s also the time wherein we are entitled to eat, eat and repeat but NO ONE has the right to call us out on our weight gain (lol!). This festive occasion calls for festive activities. It’s no secret that like Jack and Jill, we have to go up to the hill to enjoy one of Cebu’s best buffets. Hello MarcoPolo! For this special time of the year, they made sure the holidays will be merrier and happier with the joyous activities they arrranged for families and friends who will celebrate with them.

These are some of the reasons why you should celebrate the holidays with them.

1.You will be welcomed with a tree full of hope.

What better way to feel the Christmas spirit than to be welcomed by a beautiful towering Christmas tree? Last November 26, Marco Polo lighted its Christmas tree which signified the beginning of the festive season for giving. It’s not called a tree of hope for nothing because you can donate a Php 200 Christmas ball to the tree until January 2,2017 and the proceeds will be given to GMA Kapuso Foundation.

2. Festive buffets for everyone

It’s the best time to eat our hearts out! Whether you want to dine at Cafe Marco, Lobby lounge or El Viento, the holiday’s favorite dishes are yours to enjoy which include but not limited to ham, prime beef, chicken relleno and many more (on top of the regular internal buffet spread!) Lunch and dinner buffets can be availed at Php 1440/person from the 16th-23rd and 26-3oth. You can check their specific holiday offers here.

4. They host the most awesome New Year’s Eve Party!

There will be a Gala dinner at Marco Polo’s Grand Ballroom and Manila’s Mulatto band will serenade you with some soulful music. You can also opt to have the festive buffet at Cafe Marco, El Viento and lobby lounge. Check out the new Blu Bar too! There will also be a party at the Grand balcony where the countdown to 2017 will be be held. More details here. Expect great music from cool DJs,  free flowing drinks and spectacular fireworks!

5. Malicious cookies for the WIN!

Well, well, well…the parties and buffets sound awesome but seriously, Malicious cookies with black coffee is more than enough reason to go to Marco Polo. If you haven’t tried it yet then you are missing half of your life! Remember, life is short so go enjoy the buffet and eat the cookies! ( Btw, Malicious cookies is also in our list of top desserts in Cebu!)
