French cuisine sounds extremely fancy! You can mostly find it in exclusive dates, expense-account feasts and once in a lifetime trips to Paris. If you dine with French food, it can be considered by many as a luxury. There’s no denying that it is indeed mostly prepared and cooked in a sophisticated manner. So how about experience a touch of French Cuisine here in Cebu? Well, Marco Polo brings you the Bon Appetit experience. What’s the catch? You get to have it on top of the international buffet at Cafe Marco.
Today, we were able to enjoy and savor some French flavors. It was prepared by Chef Olivier Foucke who is the Executive Chef of Marco Polo Xiamen. He brought his expertise here at the Queen City of the South for us to have a taste of some french goodies. Chef Oliver has more than 20 years of culinary experience so obviously, he knows his craft too well. The French food did not disappoint!
Make your tummy happy with these French dishes such as these: (I don’t even know how to pronounce these words correctly!)
- Lamb Stew
- Baked Chicory and Ham
- Pate de Campagne
- Blanquette de Veau
- Veal Stew with Mushroom
- Pomme au Four
- Assorted Crepes
- Creme Brulee
- French Macarons!!!
As if you didn’t have enough of the usual Cafe Marco buffet alone!
For the love birds or if you just want to take a special person in your life to a dinner out, you can also enjoy a three course menu with wine pairing at the romantic ambiance of Blu Bar&Grill. This gives you a great city view from the top. It can be likened to having a dinner at the top of Eiffel Tower. Isn’t this French goodness at its best?
On the other hand, it was also the birthday of one of our favorite bloggers and one of my favorite people, Marco. He was given a cute Pokeball inspired cake. This is a cake you would just like to keep and never eat!
Last but not the least, no one leaves Marco Polo Cebu without getting stuffed with Malicious cookies!
